At this stage, the foot is still a developing structure and needs complete freedom to strengthen its muscles and receive information from the environment.
Our selection of kids' barefoot footwear is designed for children who are already walking confidently and need a shoe that can withstand daily wear and tear, but that fully respects their physiology.
What to look for in a shoe for walkers? ✅
At Cacles Barefoot, we only accept models that meet the "essentials" of minimalist footwear:

Truly Anatomical Toe Box: Sufficient space for toes to splay naturally. This is vital for balance and to prevent the big toe from deviating.

Zero Drop Sole (Completely Flat): No heel elevation whatsoever. This ensures the child's center of gravity is natural, protecting their back and knees.

Maximum Flexibility: The shoe must be able to bend and twist easily. If the shoe is rigid, the foot will stop working, and the muscles will weaken.
